Glance is an Art History magazine based on the details and back stories behind some of the most influential paintings and artists in history.  This magazine includes in depth details from well-known paintings and articles on the artists who created them.  Glance is directed towards young adults wanting to gain a deeper knowledge and appreciation for the art they study in and out of school.

Each layout was designed with the intention of highlighting specific pieces and emphasizing certain details that connect them to current pieces being created today in a clean-modern approach.

Two redesigns of one classic novel “The Scarlet Letter” and one contemporary novel “State of Wonder.” Both have an underlaying sense of doom within the books themselves yet take place hundreds of years apart and in entirely different places. Inspired by the novel by Nathanial Hawthorne and by intricate typographic designs during the era in which the story occurs, the cover of “The Scarlet Letter” shows a different approach to one of the most well-known novels in English Literature. Then with a more contemporary novel, this cover of “State of Wonder” was inspired by both the mystery and scientific elements of the book while keeping the mystery hidden in plain sight.

Bloom is an easy to grow plant kit! As an avid plant lover living in a busy city, it is always difficult to grow plants. Bloom however is an easy do, starter kit that is targeted to college students!

This packaging project was inspired my minimalistic packaging that could come into use with the actual product itself. Bloom is an herbal grow it yourself kit which includes soil pads, a terracotta pot, a seed kit, and a self-watering dish. The color palette is reliant on the plant included in each kit as seen with the purple accents for the rosemary kit here.
