My name is Rosa Lemonds, and I’m a designer passionate about exploring the uncomfortable within my work. When I’m not designing, you’ll find me practicing guitar, painting, running around Philly, and trying new cafés.

Fuzzbox

“Fuzzbox” is a hypothetical punk music venue. The branding is rugged, distressed, and loud, inspired by the music of early British punk all the way to contemporary pop-punk. The system balances the need for both legibility and “anti-design” while still maintaining core design principles of grid and color theory. The result is something between angsty and playful, a feeling I want all patrons of “Fuzzbox” to have both when browsing through our calendar and during the concert as well.

Fluxus

“Fluxus” is a book created to showcase the Fluxus movement. According to founder George Maciunas, Fluxus was created to ‘promote a revolutionary flood and tide in art, promote living art, anti-art’. This book achieves these motives with experimental and do-it-yourself typography, layouts, and grid.
