Hi, my name is Camille Velasquez and I was born & raised in Miami, Florida. I am Cuban, Ecuadorian, and Italian, and these cultures have been a big part of my life growing up. Aside from Graphic Design, I also minor in dance!

“¡Que Bola!”

For my senior thesis/project for the Graphic Design program at Drexel University I focused on branding a Cuban based food truck named "¡Que Bola!". Inspired by my Cuban heritage and culture, and my love for Latin food, I wanted to showcase the fun flavors in an exciting new way through the convenience of a food truck. Developed in 10 weeks, the final presentation includes the branding, food truck, and further elements to enhance the project experience. Using fun typography, digital illustration, and color, I explored how to make this brand fun, appetizing, and welcoming through my graphic design skills.

A&P Fresh Re-Branding

For this re-branding project, I was assigned to rebrand and restart of a grocery store. I researched the previous version and feel of the brand and brought in the inspiration I took from grocery stores I’ve had good experiences with. I wanted to re-brand A&P Fresh as a simple yet friendly brand moving forward and used color, fun illustrations, and a new system of marketing to create it.

Aphrodite Skincare Packaging

In this packaging product, I was assigned to create a rigid structured packaging that included at least 3 items. I decided to take my love for self-care and create a skincare brand that was also travel sized and offered an elegant feel. I wanted the consumers to feel the beauty of the product thus the name of the brand “Aphrodite”. I wanted to emanate the brands feel by portraying the goddess of love and beauty and her birth from seafoam. I created a variety of elegant patterns, shapes, and illustrations. Step-by-step directions illustrate how to use the products as well.
